General Manager NCA (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras)

 

 Our Macam cluster is searching for its next General Manager - NCA, who will be responsible to lead the overall performance of the operation within a market, ensuring aligment with company values. Is responsible for setting strategic direction, managing day to day operations, and ensuring business growth while meeting financial and operational goals. Lead the implementation of initiatives that drive value, collaborate closely with OEM partners and foster relationships with key stakeholders.

 

 Among The Main Functions To Be Performed Are

 Strategic Planning and Execution

    • Develop and execute action plans to achieve targets in revenue, profit, working capital, and market share.
    • Collaborate with OEM partners to align strategic and operational goals for local success.
    • Lead key projects that promote long-term competitiveness, growth, and innovation.
    • Provide strategic input to the Managing Director, identifying new opportunities and areas for market improvement.
  • Operations Management
    • Lead commercial initiatives in alignment with Inchcape’s strategy, making decisions that drive business growth.
    • Oversee the operation optimizing cost and efficiency.
    • Coordinate marketing and brand strategies with the Regional OEM to meet local market needs.
    • Ensure successful delivery of key projects, including Distribution Excellence, Digital Transformation, and IT.
    • Embed sustainability goals across projects and operations to ensure long-term environmental and business success.
  • Commercial Leadership
    • Drive sales KPIs, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term business goals.
    • Oversee S&OP, new car and parts supply chain and third-party partnerships to ensure seamless operations.
    • Lead the development of omnichannel capabilities, from lead generation to conversion
    • Adjust strategies based on market performance to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Management
    • Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and key stakeholders to ensure a successful market route and sustained profitability.
    • Collaborate with functional teams to align initiatives with company standards.
    • Represent Inchcape with media, government, unions, and other key stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Governance and Controls
    • Ensure adherence to governance and control standards, taking proactive actions to address any issues.
    • Oversee budget planning, trading updates and financial resource management to meet business objectives.
    • Lead the local sustainability agenda, ensuring all projects and operations align with Inchcape’s sustainability goals.
  • People Leadership
    • Build and lead a high-performing, diverse team, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for future market growth.
    • Foster a culture of openness and psychological safety, encouraging innovation and career development.
    • Lead by example, promoting Inchcape’s values and ethical standards.
    • Drive change management, ensuring the team adapts to market shifts and evolving business needs.

 

We Will Match If You Meet The Following Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, ideally within a multinational, consumer-facing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire brand/commercial teams to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Proven track record in achieving commercial and operational results.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Experience leading diverse teams across geographies and cultures.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and drive teams toward shared goals.
  • Forward-thinking leader to make an impact in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
