Our Finance Team is currently looking for a talented Internal Control Specialist CARCAM to be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of the internal control culture by designing, implementing, and monitoring the ICS framework, delivering related trainings, assessing control effectiveness, identifying deficiencies and risks, recommending improvements, and ensuring proper follow-up on action plans at both strategic and process levels.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Support the implementation process of the Inchcape Internal Control framework (ICS - InControl Standards) in new markets or new business.
  • Counsel the different business areas, in order to assess accurately the processes defined according to the requirements of the ICS.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the controls defined by the Inchcape Internal Control framework (ICS - InControl Standards).
  • Comply with the established values, policies and procedures
  • Promote a healthy control culture based on risk management to the different business areas.
  • Develop initial recommendations for changes to processes and systems to minimize risk, improve performance, productivity and compliance with relevant internal control policies.
  • Manage training and communication sessions related to the Inchcape Internal Control framework.
  • Educate about the risks of not complying with the control framework (ICS - InControl Standards) to the different business areas.
  • Monitor the progress of the action plans identified in the self-assessment process, internal audits, external audits or risk assessment process,  to identify any delays in their compliance or any required adjustments.
  • Maintain a proper flow of communication between the Head of Internal Control Americas & CARCAM and local management.
  • Support with regional projects defined by the Head of Internal Control Americas & CARCAM (including their compliance).
  • Assure the proper upload of information in Blackline, verifying the quality of the uploaded information.
  • Support the local management team with any requirements or requests (depending of the approval of the respective leader).
  • Support the implementation of the ERM methodology define by the Group and follow up the strategic plan to cover the risks identified.

 

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economy, Finance, Account and related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Integrated business risk management, Internal Control, process redesign, Internal or External Audit. Preferably with solid knowledge in ERP implementation, from an internal control point of view.
  • Experience in process improvements within international environments or companies is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Availability to travel, as needed.
