Strategy and Development Director

 

Our Leadership team in Chile is currently looking for a talented Strategy and Development Director who will be responsible for leading the Optimization pillar within Accelerate+, while also guiding the CLT in the development of a strategic plan for the market. This role will be accountable for designing and overseeing plans and programs aimed at improving market efficiency.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the design and execution of major projects within a transformational change program, ensuring alignment with other functions and disciplines. Build management commitment and apply structured change management methodologies to drive adoption and embed the desired culture and behaviors.
  • Develop the strategy for a key area of responsibility—such as a function—by anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure successful implementation aligned with medium-term business objectives
  • Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision and values; clarify the actions needed to implement it within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.
  • Lead the design and manage the strategic journey of the market, focusing on structural changes within a function or department, transforming business processes, culture, and behaviors to be more inclusive and aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  • Provide authoritative specialist advice to senior managers at the business unit or regional level to enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives.
  • Manage the delivery of a major part of the organization's project management program. Take personal responsibility for a small number of business-critical projects.
  • Lead and drive distribution and excellence projects in the market, aligning business and processes in the market.
  • Take responsibility for setting and managing area budgets so they align with organizational strategy.
  • Be the window to all global strategic programs in the market, especially in stabilization and project deployments

 

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • Professional Education Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, among others.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, project management, process optimization, centers of excellence, and value realization offices.
  • Over 10 to 15 years of solid and in-depth experience providing high-level expert knowledge.
  • Over 6 to 10 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short to medium timeframes, aligned with organizational policies.
  • Optimization process expertise (mandatory).
  • English – Advanced.
  • MS Office Knowledge – Advanced.
