Our Procurement & Facilities team is seeking a Security Lead for Central America & the Caribbean (CARCAM) to join our team.

 

In this position you will be responsible for coordinating and executing operational security activities across the Central American and Caribbean cluster, ensuring effective implementation of physical and electronic security standards, incident response protocols, crisis coordination, contractor oversight, and compliance with corporate security requirements.

 

The role will support business continuity through operational risk mitigation, security governance, and continuous improvement of security practices across all company facilities and operations.

 

What you’ll do

  • Maintenance and updating of People databases such as Payroll System, People Hub, employee files, job descriptions, cost centers, salaries, and variable compensation schemes.
  • Support operations related to costs, headcount control, absenteeism, vacations, provisions in collaboration with the finance department and other stakeholders.
  • Payroll management and associated In Controls, in collaboration with PBP and payroll approvers and reviewers.
  • Handle People procurement processes along with purchase orders and invoicing, within the annual budget (AOP).
  • Prepare and produce metrics and reports related to the People area to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (PH) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement departments on HR-related cost management and benefits administration.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees by facilitating orientation, paperwork completion and processing.
  • Coordinating requests and delivery of all provisioning items (uniforms, welcome kits, badges) by new hire's start date.
  • Handle the health and life insurance broker in conjunction with the procurement area, ensuring employee enrollment in these and other benefits.
  • Responsible for appropriate follow-up of each required element in the onboarding process within time frames established.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate security, preferably within a multinational company.
  • Professional degree in Administration, Law, Military Sciences, Police, or related fields.
  • Strategic Security Management Course.
  • Proven experience leading internal and contracted security teams, including guard force operations and security service providers.
  • Experience supervising third-party security providers, SLA compliance, and physical security service delivery in multi-site environments.
  • Strong background in crisis management, incident investigation, loss and damage control, and coordination with local authorities.
  • Experience conducting operational security inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Experience managing specialized security service contracts and contractor performance.
  • Demonstrated experience with executive protection protocols, secure transportation, and journey management coordination.
  • Advanced English level for interaction with key members of the global team- preferred
