Job Summary:

The role is responsible responsible to support the Security Manager  in overseeing day-to-day security operations, managing security personnel, conducting investigations, monitoring surveillance system, implementing policies, and ensuring safety within the organization.

Job Requirement:

  • Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to identify potential threats or incidents.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action.
  • Conduct security patrols and inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures
  • Ensure security protocols are followed by staff and visitors
  • Investigate security breaches, thefts, or other incidents, documenting findings and taking corrective actions
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and trends
  • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the facility
  • Recommend security improvements and mitigation strategies to address identified risks
  • Monitor staff performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of security officers, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct training sessions for new security personnel on security protocols, procedures, and emergency response.
  • Maintain open communication with the Security Manager and other departments regarding security concerns
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/ Security management/  Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems, GPS and CCTV surveillance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
  • Relevant security certifications may be preferred
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
