Job Title: Automotive Technician
Department: Aftersales / Service
Location: Philippines
Reports to: Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager
Role Purpose
To perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotation, and fluid checks
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Execute warranty and recall repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within the prescribed time standards
- Document findings, repairs performed, and parts used clearly in job orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide technical explanations when needed
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate of Automotive Technology or related vocational course
- TESDA certification (e.g., NC II in Automotive Servicing) preferred
- At least 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician (preferably in a dealership setting)
- Experience working with OEM brands (e.g., CDJR, premium brands) is an advantage

- Knowledge of automotive systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment

Working Conditions
- Workshop-based role with exposure to tools, machinery, and varying temperatures
- May require overtime or weekend work depending on service demand
