Job Summary
To perform all duties as designated by company and be able to carry out the functions of the department independently and without prejudice.
The Marketing Executive will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote brand and drive sales; work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audiences.
The key areas are as below:
- Operation
General
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Developing marketing strategies in line with company/OEM objectives and target.
- Drive end to end development and delivery of marketing policies and plans such as product launch events, roadshows, promotions, advertising campaigns to support Sales team and Purchasing to ensure competitiveness and achieve company goals.
- Managing all marketing for brand at corporate level within the marketing department.
- Planning for digital media engagement materials and strategies.
Brand Communication
- Ensuring strategies of brand management and development is aligned to the corporate identity of both Inchcape and OEM.
- Communicate brand strategies and collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders such as Sales, Aftersales, support functions and marketing agencies to ensure successful implementation of the planned campaigns.
- Develop marketing communications materials for all touchpoints which may include print materials, car displays and showrooms to ensure brand integrity and consistency.
Budgeting
- Plan, manage and track AOP marketing budgets for all touchpoints from both digital and retail platforms to ensure maximum impact on ROI to the business.
- Preparing and monitoring marketing plans and budgets.
- Digital Service Management
Website Management/Development
- Monitor and maintain company’s website development and manages content posting.
- Amend and edit digital content appropriately aligning to the company’s strategy.
- Create and maintain new development when needed on digitalization.
- Update on digital prices after liaising with marketing assistant.
- Ensure that price is aligned with strategy.
- Ensuring all pictorials and visuals are in context within agreed materials and synergized with theme.
- Avid on building awareness to public to generate more traffic.
- Liaise with Sales team on conversion of leads to prospect.
- Ensure all inquiries pertaining to a website inquiry are communicated with the relevant team in an efficient and time-bound manner.
- Communication and liaison with relevant stakeholders within the organization (Aftersales, Sales, CRD).
Search and Visibility
- Assist in preparing SEO plans for the execution and optimization of SEO strategies.
- Assist in handling digital marketing activity on Google Ads for SEM performance optimization.
- Prepare monthly SEO/SEM performance review.
Health and Performance
- Coordinate and liaise with Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure digital content for various digital platforms is aligned, up to date and relevant.
- Manage and update digital content in preparation for new product launches or promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (web agency and content agency) on web maintenance tasks and progress tracking.
- Monitoring and tracking of monthly Google Analytics.
- Reports and Analysis
Digital Reports, Output and Conversions

- Collating traffic reports via the homepage and model page monthly to produce essential reports for business continuity and study.
- Provide strong analytical reporting and recapping on media, including digital programs to track return on investments (ROI).
- Coordination, communication, and analysis of results (recaps, presentation, budgets and invoices)
Competitor Analysis, Analytics, Plans and Reports
- Review market trends and research to anticipate competition, monitor changes and competitor analysis, actively monitor consumer behaviour to incorporate into all marketing efforts to ensure meeting the targeted audience.
- Develop and track key performance metrics and efficiency for all touch points including traffic, sales funnel, conversion to effectively evaluate and optimize marketing tactics and audience engagement.
- Product and generate data analytics and ROI driven reporting such as TIV reports and market competition reports.
- Product proposal/study report.
- Preparation of preliminary plans for events, roadshows, and product launching for both internal and OEM meeting.
- Understand market requirements and product features to ensure relevant model and variant mix that will meet the market demand.
- Retail Service Management
Retail Marketing
- Lead the executive of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Develop marketing plans that set goals for increasing revenue, market share and brand awareness.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products or services.
- Ensure all collateral and documents are current and relevant for business.
- Initiate, nurture and reinforce relationships with new and existing key high profile partners.
- Ensure business unit priorities are met by coordinating across product segments to help develop and execute company-wide drafting and seasonal promotional activities.
- Oversee marketing campaigns for the business including planning, conception, communications, compliance reviews, copywriting, time and budget management, creative/brand/merchandising guidelines, marketing calendars, presentations, and work closely with marketing production specialists and respective teams on print/production logistics, distribution, and metrics.
- Manage all aspects of event planning meeting strict deadlines and budget demands.
- Stay current, and often ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges.
Physical Platforms
- Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues and other contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events.
- Coordinate with internal team, vendors, and others to establish needs for events and serve as liaison to senior level executives, government officials etc. throughout the planning process.
- Research resources, make site visits and lead pre-event meetings, when necessary to help staff make decisions about event design.
- Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, venue preparation, presentation materials, entertainment, transportation, decoration, and marketing materials.
- Oversee client experiences from conception through post-event, managing on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown, ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases.
- Maintain and build a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues.
Advertisements
- Design advertising campaigns that create brand awareness, generate leads, and promote leads.
- Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company products, campaigns, and other initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing team and/or leadership to determine the goals of advertising projects and strategizing plans to meet goals.
- Create advertising plans and content to reach demographics.
- Oversee design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets the needs of the target audience.
- Run campaigns to introduce prospective customers to new product releases and build brand awareness.
- Consistently manage and oversee advertising campaigns to ensure customer engagement and results.
- Assist with the design, negotiation and placement of billboards, traditional media ads on radio, social media ads and email blasts.
- Decide which media format (print, radio, web, billboard) best suits the assignment.
- Negotiate contract specifications and terms with the team or other external parties.
- Schedule timetable internally and liaise with relevant agencies on the advertisement timeline.
- Maintaining strong relationships with social media influencers and media press, etc.
- Plan and manage media timelines and execute plans across all media channels including TV, social media, radio, print etc.
Customer Events
- Oversee from the planning to the execution of customer events such as roadshow, launch events and exhibitions to drive sales and building interest.
- Ensure customer events are adhering to brand standards and guidelines.
- Creative Service Management
- Brainstorm and implement event concepts and themes.
- Use brand knowledge and experience to plan strategic activities and create innovation in store experience to drive traffic.
- Take ownership of projects, specifically execution of retail events and clientele with strategic and analytical thinking.
- Develop, manage, and maintain close collaboration with partners, vendors, and creative agencies to ensure effective and accurate communications of all branding and marketing effort.
- Negotiation with partners, vendors, and creative agencies to reach a desirable outcome in terms of budget and deliverables.
- Administrative and Legal Tasks
- Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials, making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
- Contract signing with external parties and obtain relevant documents and details to raise supplier form (new or existing suppliers).
- Ensure all marketing efforts are in full compliance with the legislative requirements such as approvals for roadshows, events, and promotional materials.
