Job Summary
To perform all duties as designated by Aftersales and be able to carry out the functions of the department independently and without prejudice.
The key areas are as below:
Body Painting
- Perform painting/polishing repairs according to Toyota standards and times (light, medium, heavy, and super heavy repairs).
- Ensure that promised times are met and communicates obstacles to the foreman.
- Ensure zero repeat repair or back job.
- Ensure zero cancellation or return of parts ordered.
- Ensure zero incident of misdiagnosed
Safekeeping and Securing
- Makes sure that all basic hand tools are complete and in good condition (missing tools and equipment will be charged to TM).
- Use the Toyota repair manuals and tools for proper diagnosing and repair.
- Check all vehicles received for pre-service damages.
- Ensure there is zero incidence of lost tools.
- Ensure there is zero incidence of damages on customers’ units.
Compliance to Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Comply with company and TMC standards.
- Appearance
- 5S standards
- Proper work procedures and attitude
- Attending internal and external training seminars.
- Attends 5S meetings regularly.
- Strive to become a Certified Toyota Technician.
- Strive to become a Certified Toyota Pro-Technician.
- Strive to become a Certified Toyota Diagnostic Technician.
- Strive to become a Certified Toyota Master Technician.
- Ensure that all scores in all training attended passed the TMP standards.

- Assists in monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing prompt follow-up.
- Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to rules and regulations established in the employee handbook and the company policies concerning fire, health & safety.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the company and department grooming standards.

- To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
