Responsibilities

  • Data Collection: Gather and compile data related to parts management from various sources such as databases, Autoline systems, spreadsheets (MS Excel), and other relevant platforms.
  • Data Cleaning and Organization: Cleanse and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Organize data in a structured manner for easy analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, data mining techniques, and advanced analytics to analyze parts-related data. Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
  • Inventory Analysis: Analyze parts inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movement patterns. Identify slow-moving or obsolete parts, excess inventory, and stockouts to optimize inventory management.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze parts sales data to identify sales trends, customer preferences, and product performance. Determine the effectiveness of sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Price Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies, discounts, and margins for parts. Evaluate pricing elasticity and competitiveness in the market. Make recommendations for pricing adjustments based on data insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and generate regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders. Present complex data analyses in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including parts managers, procurement specialists, sales representatives, and IT professionals to understand business requirements and align data analysis efforts with organizational goals.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in parts-related projects involving data analysis. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures. Maintain data integrity, security, and confidentiality throughout the data analysis process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics techniques and tools. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data analysis capabilities and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties

            Any other duties as and when required by managers that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals.

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in any subject
  • At least 5 years experience in Business Analyst  
  • Data Driven with strong analytical mindset
  • Experience in logistic, import & export would be advantage
  • Expert in Ms. Excel – Power Query, Power BI and VBA
  • Good verbal & written English
  • Good MS Office, especially Excel Intermediate level is preferable
  • Numeracy and literacy to a level adequate to deal with logistic documentation.
  • Ability to analyst parts ordering to meet customer requests
