Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Fleet customer, sales coordinator and dealer to verify the claim.
- Develop and maintain warranty quality objectives that are consistent with TATA policies and objectives.
- Collect, track, analyze and distribute warranty data to responsible disciplines and plan warranty interfaces.
- Develop standard reporting formats for warranty metrics and schedule warranty management reviews.
- Verify warranty claim data of warranty officer before submitting to TATA Warranty claim systems.
- Follow up each submitted claims until TATA issue SBI.
- Cooperate with dealers during warranty claim investigations
- Find and give the solution of complicated claim cases including make decision within authorization.
- Create the scenarios solutions for management position to decision in case out of authorization.
- Coordinate returned parts to appropriate locations for additional in-depth root cause analysis, testing and implementation of corrective actions.
- Communicate and present results of warranty investigations to internal and external auditor.
- Serve as a liaison between TATA and customers regarding warranty improvement.
- Maintain monthly/weekly/daily warranty submission data to verify warranty invoice with finance department.
- Develop procedures, work instructions, test instructions and other documentation to support warranty process and issue resolution.
- Lead follow up of campaign recall activity with other department.
- Prepare warranty data to support others departments.
- Update warranty information to concern departments.
- Help Guide some standard TATA responsible and role (if can) of Service Advisor, Technician and others that do not know that their responsibility.
- Maintain regular interface with all related departments as well as TATA and customers.
Any other duties as and when required by senior company managers that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals but not against the policy responsible.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 2-5 year experience in Automotive warranty
- Open mindset to learn and understand the other department process and vehicle knowledge
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday
