PURPOSE OF ROLE:

 

General Ledger Accounting, inventory Accounting. fixed Assets, balance sheet reconciliation, including bank and intercompany processes.

 

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Assist in analysing and improving end-to-end R2R processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices. Support the implementation of process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives (e.g., RPA, AI). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and process compliance. Participate in the rollout and adoption of new tools and technologies. Assist in documenting processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting project execution.

Understanding of Global Business Services (GBS) environments and accounting processes: Experience in process design, mapping, and improvement, with a focus on compliance and quality. Working knowledge of accounting principles IFRS, SAP and Blackline. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, formulas, data modeling) and Power BI for data analysis and visualisation. Strong knowledge in SAP and scripts. Background in data management and shared service centre operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to apply process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Intermediate communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Project management capabilities, including planning, organisation, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
