Finance Director - MACAM

Our Finance VP is searching for its next Finance Director - MACAM, who will be responsible to establish strategies that earn profits, oversee accounting operations, improve or change current practices to increase efficiency, while leading the commercial finance strategy, business partnering, accounting, reporting regulatory, internal control and compliance for the business in Macam Markets.

 

Among the main functions to be performed are:

Accounting

  • In-charge of full spectrum of accounting function, including the maintenance of general ledger of the entities, bank reconciliations and fixed assets in SAP system
  • Perform timely month end closing in SAP System and Group Financial Reporting tool as per Group reporting timeline
  • Ensure that statutory accounts, and necessary local direct and indirect tax returns are submitted on an accurate and timely basis to the local authorities
  • Liaise with statutory auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
  • Work alongside GBS in the back-office automation, digitalization, standardization and centralization of R2R, OTC, MD, P2P processes using continuous improvement, cost drivers and improved set of SLAs.

Reporting

  • Ensure timely completion and submission of financial, management and budgetary reports to Management and other stakeholders
  • Present the monthly financial performance report to senior management and cost center owners
  • Provide strategic financial information to the management team
  • Budgeting and Control
  • Plan, coordinate and prepare entities’ annual budget for approval
  • Regular review of entities budget, highlight variances against actuals, identify risks/ opportunities and necessary remedial actions
  • Work with the regional and Group controlling team to prepare monthly rolling forecasts and financial projections
  • Advise Management and Americas Leadership Team on long-term business and financial planning

Treasury

  • Forecast, monitor, and manage entities’ fx exposure and requirements, cash flow for operations, asset, bank relationships, OEM SRC and other facilities maintenance
  • Forecast and manage entities’ treasury requirements, debt levels, borrowings, covenants and cash ratios.

Business support

  • Provide financial support to commercial business cases, review and challenge assumptions
  • Promote, provide financial guidance related to business transformation initiatives, ensure alignment with company global strategy
  • Secure right levels of business partnering driving insights and analytics to inform and influence business decisions

Leadership and Management

  • Plan, manage and control headcount requirements by liaising with senior regional business leaders and HR teams
  • Providing leadership, direction, coaching, mentoring, training and management of finance team
  • Establishing and developing good corporate climate, employee engagement and robust business partnership with own team, senior peer group management team, teams in other countries in the region, group UK, external partners, and stakeholders                      

 

 

We will match if you meet the following requirements:

  • CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification in Finance 
  • Prover track record in Finance areas, of which minimum 5 years with management and leadership responsibility
  • Extensive experience working with GBS and in an MNC 
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in planning, forecasting and analysis.
  • Hands-on working experience with finance systems such as SAP/ BPC / HFM /Sales Force.
  • Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis
  • Strategic and analytical skills, ability to make important decisions under pressure, expert problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of a multicultural organization. Energetic, collaborative, self-starter
  • Leadership skills are essential
  • Impeccable record of highest integrity and values consistent with those of the company
  • Regional LATAM experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
