PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Performance Measurement & Reporting SME plays a crucial role in establishing a robust performance management culture within the organization, providing strategic insights that drive decision-making and improve overall organizational effectiveness.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Expert Consultation: Provide Expert Guidance And Support On Performance Measurement Frameworks, Methodologies, And Best Practices Across The Organization.
2. Framework Development: Lead The Design And Implementation Of Performance Measurement Systems, Including Kpis, Metrics, And Reporting Tools, To Align With Organizational Objectives.
3. Data Analysis Oversight: Oversee The Analysis Of Performance Data, Ensuring Accuracy, Consistency, And Relevance Of Insights Provided To Stakeholders At All Levels.
4. Quality Assurance: Establish And Enforce Data Quality Standards And Validation Processes To Ensure Integrity In Performance Reporting.
5. Training And Development: Develop And Deliver Training Programs For Teams On Performance Measurement Concepts, Tools, And Analytical Techniques, Fostering A Data-Driven Culture.
6. Collaboration With Stakeholders: Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams (E.G., Finance, Operations, Hr) To Ensure Performance Measurement Practices Are Integrated Into Business Processes And Decision-Making.
7. Trend Identification: Analyze Performance Trends And Patterns, Providing Strategic Recommendations To Enhance Organizational Efficiency And Effectiveness.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify Opportunities For Process Improvements Within The Performance Measurement And Reporting Function, Driving Efficiency And Effectiveness.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEE REQUIRED:
1. Educational Background: Typically a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, statistics, data analytics, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are advantageous.
2. Experience: Extensive experience in performance measurement, data analysis, or reporting roles, with a strong focus on strategic insights and process improvement; previous SME experience is preferred.
3. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in performance management software, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis software.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
5. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
