PURPOSE OF ROLE
Support the execution and continuous monitoring of the Group’s foreign exchange (FX) hedging processes for the Americas region, including forecasting, data validation, reporting, and performance measurement. This role provides operational and analytical assistance to RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM LEAD AMERICAS, ensuring timely and accurate information flow, compliance with Treasury policies, and the effectiveness of the hedging strategies in place.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and maintain the FX Rate Forecast Report ensuring consistency with financial planning cycles.
- Issue and distribute hedge performance and forecast accuracy reports to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Support the data gathering, cleansing, and reconciliation processes to ensure reliability of balance sheet hedging inputs and outputs.
- Assist in the monthly calculation of FX exposure levels and required hedge percentages, in coordination with the RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM LEAD AMERICAS .
- Monitor the hedge calendar and follow up on due activities, ensuring deadlines are met across processes.
- Maintain detailed support of hedge requests, and data sources.
- Track and analyse key KPIs related to hedging performance, exposure volatility, and forecast accuracy.
- Provide audit support and respond to information requests with documented evidence of process execution.
- Support coordination with finance, accounting, and markets to clarify data discrepancies or timing issues.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and automation initiatives for hedge administration.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Progress toward a professional certification (e.g., CTP- Certified Treasury Professional, CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst, FRM - Financial Risk Manager) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Treasury, Financial Risk Management, or Corporate Finance, ideally within a multinational or complex matrix organization.
• Exposure to FX risk processes, hedge documentation, or financial reporting is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 4 years of general experience in Treasury or Finance areas.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with FX concepts, hedging mechanisms, and financial forecasting processes.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (B2) is required.
