PURPOSE OF ROLE
The COE Risk Administration Team Manager is responsible for leading the regional risk and hedging function across all markets in the Americas. This includes ensuring FX exposures (trading volume £ 9.2BLN) are accurately calculated, hedge strategies are aligned with Global Treasury policy, and that execution and control processes are effective, compliant, and auditable. This role is accountable for the performance of two strategic streams (2 teams): FX Risk management and Hedging operations, ensuring their integration, automation, and alignment with Group Treasury’s risk appetite.
In addition, the role requires a forward-thinking, innovative leader capable of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance strategic decision-making, forecasting accuracy, process efficiency, and risk analytics. The role must stay ahead of market best practices, challenge the status quo, and proactively bring new ideas that strengthen Inchcape’s FX risk management strategy.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and govern the FX risk and hedging policy implementation across the Americas region.
- Lead and mentor the Risk Management and Hedging Operations Teams (10FTEs), ensuring proper division of responsibilities, accountability, and performance standards.
- Review and challenge monthly exposure calculations, hedge ratios, and execution strategies.
- Approve hedge volumes and ensure alignment with risk appetite, market conditions, and exposure evolution.
- Ensure end-to-end strong compliance with Treasury internal controls (ICS) and audit requirements. Administration of documents that support hedge accounting (IFRS)
- Monitor hedge performance (effectiveness, costs, unrealized gains/losses) and ensure clear reporting to Group Treasury, Regional Treasury and Markets.
- Coordination, preparation and leadership of of the FX Hedging Committee Americas (present to Regional CEO and CFO plus market MDs and FDs).
- Work closely with trading desks of the banks to obtain markets insights (supporting the FX Hedging Committee) and adopt appropriate FX execution strategies
- Continuous collaboration with Regional Hedge Accounting for correct further SAP postings of FX results
- Bring immediate FX solutions to support Region against markets FX volatility. Be attentive to market currencies fluctuations to react quickly aiming to protect margins
- Manage the Hedging Operations team in trading FX derivatives and guarantee timely and accurate (0 error target) hedge execution in Bloomberg
- Approve FX deals (approx. number 7,100/year) for the region in WSS (Wallstreet Suite)
- Act as the escalation point for discrepancies, operational risks, or system limitations across the hedge lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization of FX risk processes.
- Manage the implementation of innovative methodologies, benchmark best practices, and propose enhancements that elevate Inchcape’s FX risk strategy
- Ensure seamless, permanent and strong collaboration with commercial and other relevant market teams to communicate FX exposure risks and guarantee FX costs are considered in commercial pricing model.
- M&A: Execute integration activities as directed by Head of Treasury Americas
- Partner with Group Treasury to align regional execution with group-level objectives and regulatory compliance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•In-depth understanding of FX hedging operations, risk modeling, and hedge accounting (IFRS 9, IAS 21).
•Experience managing teams working with Bloomberg, SAP
•Demonstrated ability to lead multi-market Treasury operations and optimize controls.
•Strategic vision to link financial risk mitigation with business outcomes (cash flow stability, margin protection, balance sheet predictability).
•Accountable for safeguarding the region’s financials from FX volatility.
•Drives financial predictability through structured hedge programs and scenario planning.
•Ensures accurate, timely, and auditable risk-related financial reporting.
•Bachelor degree´s in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Industrial Engineer (or equivalent training in Treasury management).
•10 years of general experience in Treasury areas and processes.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Risk Administration and Hedging Management.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
•Power BI (Desirable)
•Proficiency in Bloomberg for accessing real-time market data, monitoring FX rates, analyzing financial trends, and executing trades.
•Experience with Wallstreet Suite (WSS) for managing cash positions, forecasting liquidity, executing FX hedges, and ensuring end-to-end trade lifecycle control.
•Hands-on experience with SAP (monetary items, invoice tracking, FX exposure reports).
•Proven experience managing teams and complex regional treasury processes.
•Proficiency in Spanish and English (B2 - C1) is required.
