Our Planning & Development team is seeking a Business Development & Execution Lead to join our team in CARCAM.
In this position, you will support the Planning & Development Director - CARCAM, in driving business development activities across the cluster. You will play a pivotal role in advancing strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening OEM relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of development projects aligned with Inchcape’s long-term objectives. This role serves as a bridge between strategy and operations, translating business development priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Planning & Development Director in aligning business development initiatives with long-term strategic planning objectives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining key OEM relationships across the cluster.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases, proposals, and presentations under the guidance of the Planning & Development Director.
- Serve as a key liaison between the Development and Commercial teams within Inchcape CARCAM.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of approved business plans across the cluster.
- Partner with the Project Management Office team to monitor objectives, track progress, and manage risks and issues related to new business initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and internal briefings to drive alignment, engagement, and project momentum.
- Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be:
- Qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrating strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accuracy in analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to evolving business priorities, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (advanced proficiency).
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced level).
- Equipped with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- An experienced, dynamic, and strategic professional within the automotive sector, with three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
