Our Finance Team is currently looking for a talented Caribbean Category Lead to be for managing sourcing operations for indirect spend categories in Barbados. This position is at the heart of procurement transformation—executing regional/global sourcing strategies while aligning with local market needs and business continuity goals. The successful candidate will lead competitive bidding events (RFPs, RFIs, eAuctions), manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance, and drive ESG objectives—all using digital tools like Coupa.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead full sourcing lifecycle using Coupa (intake to award).
  • Ensure accurate Coupa event data for tracking and reporting
  • Drive local implementation of regional/global category plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Finance, Legal, HR, IT among others
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops for alignment and risk evaluation
  • Consolidate local demand to enhance leverage
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance and manage post sourcing actions (contracting, onboarding, etc)
  • Provide market intelligence and create projects that support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the market.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Support local sustainability initiatives
  • Maintains sourcing records and data repositories (share point) updated
  • Ensure that all contracts are up to date and uploaded to the ScanMarket system and in the share point.
  • Collaborate on sourcing process standardization and training
  • Act as manager´s delegate when needed, aligned with policies and strategy

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of procurement or sourcing experience in matrixed/multinational organizations.
  • Proven expertise in indirect categories (e.g., Professional Services, Facilities, IT).
  • Strong knowledge of Coupa or equivalent eSourcing tools.
  • Experience managing suppliers, contracts, SLAs, and ESG metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier performance, conduct evaluation and lead issue resolution processes.
