Our Finance Team is currently looking for a talented Cashier for Barbados to receive payment for financial services sold by the dealership and play a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction business transactions.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Greets customers at the cashier booth in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Computes customer bills and processes customer payments.
- Receives cash, cheques and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
- Issues receipts and required change to customers.
- Reconciles petty cash, manages cash, float and bank deposits daily.
- Assists customers with queries, guides them and provides relevant information.
- Refers dissatisfied customer complaints to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Verifies documents prior to credit card acceptance
We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 5 CXC certificates at grades 1 or 2 general proficiency.
- At least one year’s experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office
- Familiar with the use of electronic equipment e.g. credit/debit card, counterfeit cash machines, money counter, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment would be an asset.
