Finance Analyst

Our Finance team is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team in Barbados. In this position you will serve as the key liaison between finance-related technology systems and the Finance Team across the Inchcape Caribbean Market. The incumbent will be responsible for providing informed guidance and support to the Finance Team through business systems analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting, and the optimization of finance-related processes and technologies.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor and maintain the SAP Incadea and SAP BPC interfaces, ensuring the accurate and timely flow of financial data into the General Ledger and financial reporting systems.
• Investigate interface performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to provide technical support and ensure business systems effectively meet operational and reporting needs.
• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial systems and processes.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing automation opportunities that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve service delivery.
• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial data across all finance systems.
• Design and develop custom reports and analytical outputs to support management decision-making and business requirements.
• Collaborate with regional and Group stakeholders to gather data required for forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly rolling forecasts, budgets, and other financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance through variance analysis, KPI monitoring, and other financial reporting activities.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning, long-term forecasting, and informed business decision-making.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

• Qualified with a B.Sc. in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Bringing a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a finance function.
• Demonstrating strong working knowledge of ERP and Financial applications.
• Experienced with SQL and data visualization tools an asset (e.g. Power Bi)
• Computer literate with intermediate Excel skills.
• A critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
