Our I.T team is seeking an I.T Service Support to join our team in Barbados. In this position you will ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of I.T services by serving as the primary point of contact for end-user technology support, maintaining workplace technologies and local I.T infrastructure, and collaborating with local and regional I.T teams to enhance service performance, cybersecurity, business continuity, and the overall user experience.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Provide first and second line technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and application issues while delivering a high level of customer service.

 

  • Provision, configure, maintain, and decommission desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other end-user technologies in accordance with corporate standards and security policies.

 

  • Deploy and manage operating systems, software, updates, patches, and endpoint security configurations to ensure device performance, compliance, and security.

 

  • Support and maintain local I.T infrastructure, including networks, wireless connectivity, telecommunications, meeting room technology, CCTV, PBX systems, and associated equipment.

 

  • Maintain accurate I.T asset inventories, software licensing records, and configuration data to support lifecycle management and compliance.

 

  • Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing endpoint security controls, assisting with vulnerability remediation, and ensuring compliance with corporate security and governance requirements.

 

  • Contribute to the delivery of local, regional, and global I.T projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and overall service delivery.

 

  • Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including backup verification, recovery testing, and emergency response to help maintain the availability of critical I.T services.

 

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business users, regional I.T teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver reliable I.T services and support business objectives.

 

  • Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will be:

 

  • Qualified with a Bachelor's degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

  • Bringing 1–3 years of experience in I.T support, end-user computing, or a similar technical role.

 

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

 

  • Familiar with networking, internet technologies, telephony, PBX systems, CCTV, and telecommunications equipment.

 

  • Demonstrating a basic understanding of endpoint management, software deployment, and I.T security best practices.

 

  • Possessing strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

  • An excellent communicator with strong customer service and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively, managing conflict professionally, and remaining composed under pressure.

 

  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality I.T support while continuously developing technical knowledge and skills.

 

  • Fluent in English, with basic to intermediate proficiency in Spanish considered desirable but not essential.
