Our Distribution Excellence team is seeking a Regional Sales Lead to join our team in Barbados. In this position you will in this position, you will support with the daily follow-up of sales and marketing initiatives and their implementation across the dealer network as well as contributing to the efficient and profitable operation of the department.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for dealers on all Suzuki Marine-related matters, ensuring a high level of service through effective use of internal resources.
  • Assists with the development of sales, aftersales, and financial targets for dealers with approval, and communicate these targets to assigned dealers.
  • Monitor and report on sales, marketing, and financial performance against targets, providing monthly reports and weekly progress updates to leadership.
  • Track the competitive landscape, including competitor brand sales and marketing initiatives, and provide detailed insights and reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with dealers and stakeholders to identify, support, and resolve operational and sales-related issues.
  • Coordinate with dealers, internal teams, and external partners to execute and track marketing campaigns, promotions, and incentive programs.
  • Implement and follow up on distribution and retail sales strategies to drive performance across the dealer network.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on wholesale and retail sales, inventory levels, marketing initiatives, economic conditions, and sales forecasts.
  • Ensure dealerships operate in line with company and manufacturer standards, including maintaining accurate pricing and supporting effective market positioning.
  • Stay informed of and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, as well as company strategies, policies, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for network expansion and recommend new dealer or territory development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers, addressing concerns in line with company values and supporting the team in delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Any other reasonable and related duties as required.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Qualified with an Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English, with Spanish considered an asset.
  • Bringing at least three (3) years of experience in direct sales or a target-driven sales environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in creating reports, managing databases, and developing dashboards and executive presentations.
  • An effective communicator, able to convey information clearly and professionally in all settings while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Adaptable and able to work through challenges with professionalism while maintaining performance.
  • Highly organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Possessing a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
