Our Distribution Excellence team is currently looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager for Barbados who is responsible for achieving sales objectives and goals while contributing to an efficient and profitable sales department, and at the same time maintaining a high level of customer service.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for monitoring sales, vehicle orders, marketing and financial targets, and report on performance.
- Communicate sales and market share targets to the dealers.
- Develop and implement plans for new dealers.
- Ensure the brand is represented adequately in contracted markets by identifying suitable representation, and developing good working relationships with appointed dealers.
- Maintain knowledge of markets, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with manufacturers as necessary through telephone, electronic platforms or visits.
- Coordinate with Logistics personnel to ensure that products are ordered and delivered on time.
- Keep abreast of, and comply with all manufacturer's requirements, processes, policies and guidelines that affect sales and marketing.
- Monitor market share in applicable segments and identifies opportunities to increase sales volume.
- Negotiate for new products, product specifications and pricing.
We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:
- B.Sc. in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of high calibre sales experience
- Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills
- Excellent financial skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis
- A demonstrated history of solid performance and sales success
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
