Our Sales Team  is currently looking for a talented Sales Account Executive – Agriculture Sector to be the responsible for the strategic relationship management and sales across the assigned sector. This role serves as a single point of contact for all customers within the sector, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

The executive is expected to maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders within the sector, while ensuring an in-depth understanding of current and future initiatives and/or projects that may impact the sector.

The executive is responsible for promoting a full range of product solutions with the purpose of delivering both sector sales and market share growth, while also delivering on sales volume, revenue and gross profit targets.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Determines each customer’s equipment/vehicle needs by thoroughly analysing applications/requirements.
  • Offers clients strategic solutions, based on thorough analysis and knowledge full Inchcape product range.
  • Departs from traditional ways of doing things to ensure customer satisfaction and develop new business opportunities while complying with company policies.
  • Manage customer relationships by acting as their liaison to all other Inchcape departments, ensuring all queries are efficiently processed.
  • Maintains frequent contact with clients to effectively manage relationships.
  • Demonstrates new vehicles/equipment (include test drives where applicable).
  • Delivers new vehicles/equipment to customers.  This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork, to lay the foundation for customer loyalty.
  • Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains a Daily Activity Log for submission to the department head and Reception Staff on a daily basis.
  • Maintains and manages a prospect development system.
  • Analyzes sector data – providing and presenting monthly reports to department head on the performance and trends of the sector.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers, including those of the competitors.
  • Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Reports to the department head regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
  • Reviews and analyses actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
  • Understands the terminology of the commercial equipment/vehicle business and keep abreast of technological changes in the products. Product literature is provided by the dealership to greatly assist in this area.
  • Knows and understands all local laws & regulations, which govern retail commercial equipment/vehicle sales.

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • At least five (5) CSEC level passes including Mathematics and English at grade 2 or higher
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ sales experience
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a proven passion for customer service and customer satisfaction
  • A general knowledge of agriculture equipment and vehicles would be an asset
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to track and achieve sales targets
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to effectively negotiate with clients
