Our Sales team is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Barbados. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring order satisfaction and customer satisfaction by working closely with the Sales Department. The incumbent will also maintain positive relationships with suppliers and dealers while supporting the coordination of sales operations.

What you’ll do:

 

  • Coordinate dealer orders by ensuring all submissions are received within established deadlines, proactively following up with dealers as needed to support timely and accurate order processing.
  • Enter vehicle orders into the relevant systems.
  • Maintain and update order forms with changes to product codes, colours, specifications, or other details, and communicate updates to dealers.
  • Liaise with suppliers to process dealer-requested order changes and ensure modifications are accurately reflected.
  • Monitor the progress of all customer orders and provide regular updates to dealers from order placement through final delivery.
  • Review sales notes and invoices for accuracy, working with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Communicate shipping schedules and delivery information to dealers within established timelines.
  • Prepare customer invoices and all other shipping documentation.
  • Register vehicle sales within the relevant systems.
  • Maintain the warranty program records and ensure dealers are invoiced appropriately.
  • Prepare reports, gather sales and order information, and provide management, suppliers, and dealers with accurate operational updates.
  • Update internal systems with new vehicle models, product information, pricing, and changes to existing models.
  • Keep dealers informed of manufacturer and company updates that impact sales operations, products, or processes.
  • Maintain and distribute current pricing information and updated price lists to dealers.
  • Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will be:

 

  • Qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.

 

  • Bringing experience with SAP, with knowledge of the system considered an asset.

 

  • Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with dealers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Bringing previous experience in distribution, with experience in the automotive industry considered an asset.

 

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

 

  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing competing deadlines and adapting to changing business needs.

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using business systems and technology to support daily operations and reporting.
