Our Automotive Service team is seeking a Service Excellence Associate to join our team in Barbados. In this position you will coordinate and promote necessary service requirements within the Service Department while delivering a positive customer experience.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Greet customers in a timely and professional manner and obtain accurate customer and vehicle information.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage customer bookings.
  • Advise customers on vehicle care and the importance of routine maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Keep customers informed and up to date on the status of their vehicles, including any changes to estimates or completion times, and obtain authorization for additional work.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries related to service, appointments and work in progress.
  • Create and manage repair orders, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded.
  • Review service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend additional required services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm concerns, arrange road testing where necessary, and support timely completion of work.
  • Establish and confirm service completion timelines.
  • Prepare clear and accurate estimates for labour and parts.
  • Ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for delivery.
  • Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Qualified with at least five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
  • Bringing a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Possessing the appropraite valid driver’s licence.
  • Demonstrating the ability to learn and navigate customer service–related software systems and tools.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibiting effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to customer needs.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrating strong time management and organisational skills.
