Our IT team is currently looking for a talented Temporary IT Service Support for Barbados who will deliver the agreed service level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in multiple areas under their accountability matrix and resolve issues related to the software and hardware swiftly, ensuring minimum disruption.

 

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Perform computer formatting: Adhere to established procedures for formatting computers, ensuring data integrity and proper erasure, while considering potential recovery needs.
  • Proactive Software Management: Regularly deploy updates, patches, and new software versions, ensuring systems remain at peak performance.
  • Strategic Collaboration with IT Security: Work closely with the IT security team, suggesting proactive measures and contributing to the development of procedures to safeguard the company's digital assets more effectively.
  • End-to-End Technical Support: troubleshooting, guiding employees on system usage.
  • Hardware Health Check: Regularly diagnose and rectify hardware issues.
  • Network Configuration & Oversight: Set up, manage, and review network permissions and security protocols.
  • Asset and License Management: Maintain a detailed digital inventory.
  • Remote hands & On-site Infrastructure Support: Extend support to include on-site infrastructure management for networks, telephony, PBX systems, CCTV maintenance, and telecommunication equipment.
  • Support in Trade Shows and Events.

 

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
  • 1-3 year’s of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of current Internet technologies.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as software installation and configuration.
  • Ability to understand technical manuals, software applications, hardware principals of operation and general methods of systems software operations.
  • Task Management: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, ensuring that tech issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
