Our Aftersales Team is seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our team in Christchurch. In this position, you will collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team to ensure warranty claims, service plans and manufacturer requirements are managed accurately and efficiently, bringing your administration expertise and attention to detail to drive your career forward.

 

What you’ll do.

  • Manage the end-to-end warranty claims process, ensuring claims are submitted accurately and in accordance with manufacturer requirements
  • Review, audit and cost repair orders while maintaining compliance with OEM policies and procedures
  • Investigate, resolve and follow up warranty claim discrepancies, rejections and supporting documentation requirements
  • Maintain accurate warranty records, reconciliations and reporting to support departmental performance
  • Liaise with manufacturers, service teams and internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and ensure efficient claim resolution
  • Support Service Advisors and the wider Service team while contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

 

About you

You are a detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working with structured processes and ensuring information is accurate and compliant. You're confident communicating with different stakeholders and can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous administration or customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation capability
  • Experience managing external stakeholder relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment
  • Customer-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Automotive, warranty or dealership experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Experience working with OEMs or within a service/workshop environment will be advantageous
