About the Role
As a Warranty Administrator in Christchurch, you'll play a key role in preparing and processing manufacturer warranty claims to maximize repair cost recovery. You'll assist with maintaining ISO records and helping Service Advisors with invoice preparation. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical aptitude and excellent administrative/computer skills.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and following processes. Experience with Magix would be a plus, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process warranty claims to ensure maximum cost recovery.
- Maintain ISO documentation and assist with Service Advisor invoice preparation.
- Handle administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company processes.
- Work efficiently and independently while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Assist in inventory and parts management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Warranty Clerk or Service Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, with a great phone manner.
- Proficient PC literacy and system skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Magix (a bonus).
- Automotive industry experience is advantageous but not required.
