Our Finance Americas team is looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner. The purpose of this role is to drive profitable business growth across the Americas region by developing capabilities in constructing and generating financial insights that help identify revenue opportunities, cost management improvements and efficiencies. Additionally, this role will be responsible for enhancing data evolution and automation through the use and continuous improvement of existing tools, as well as contributing to the development of the Commercial Finance function by defining processes, ways of working, and collaboration with regional teams. The role will act as a strategic partner to the automotive business, closing the gap and transforming strategic and business information into actionable analysis that supports synergies and new commercial opportunities.
What you will do
- Support the development of Gross Margin analysis, generating insights, proposing new tools, and strengthening existing initiatives in Inchcape Americas (variance analysis, business types, among others).
- Act as a Business Partner to Automotive and Commercial teams, monitoring gross margin, generating insights for regional brand teams, and acting as the financial Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the S&OP team.
- Capture and drive pricing initiatives across the Americas region, developing tools within Inchcape’s technology ecosystem.
- Analyze new revenue generation opportunities and provide insights for cost management across the region, leveraging benchmarks across markets, the regulatory environment in the Americas, and internal business opportunities.
- Enhance the use of systems and tools, driving the evolution of data and insights to support regional decision-making.
- Lead the continuous improvement efforts that our commercial and strategic processes, are reflected in our financial environments.
- Perform additional duties as required to fulfill the purpose of the role.
About you
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for analysis, modeling, and presentation of information.
- Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic and constantly changing environments.
- Strong orientation toward organization, structure, and process improvement, ensuring efficient and standardized ways of working.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and engage with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge and use of Business Intelligence tools (desirable), such as Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear messages for non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced level of English (mandatory), due to interaction with regional teams.
