The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role focuses on analyzing financial data to support informed business decisions and value-creation initiatives. The position ensures timely and accurate reporting of actuals, budgets, and forecasts, providing financial insights to key stakeholders across the business. The incubate is also responsible for delivering commercial financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making, managing month-end closing, and fulfilling stakeholder requirements with accurate financial figures and tracking of business unit performance.

 

Job Description

Planning, performance monitoring & reporting:

  • Provides analytical support to produce the annual budget and quarterly forecasts including key insights and recommendations 
  • Works closely with the Leadership Team to formulate insights for  the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  • Assist in highlighting future risks and opportunities by reforecasting 
  • Participate in revenue/margin/contribution analysis and explanation of performance against budget, prior performance and market conditions 
  • Support month end -end closing, Trial balance review, compilation and analysis of financial statements 
  • Follow group instructions and manage monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly reporting.
  • Consolidate commentary to be included in the monthly business performance review and report 

 Commercial support:

  • Understand the drivers of current performance
  • Is a guardian of pricing and commercial policies efficiency and compliance; provides recommendations on pricing and margin corrections to respective business owners 

 

  • Uses internal and external information to extrapolate future performance based on scenario planning 
  • Works with various business units to turn analysis into value adding insight 
  • Shares consistent reports to department’s using agreed KPI’s in a timely and consistent manner

Finance projects:

  • Supports finance projects as required and seeking operational efficiencies 
  • Assists in the production of commercially viable business cases to deliver strategic initiatives, creates and runs economical and financial models when required 
  • Participates in production of strategic plans using insightful analysis 
  • Contributes to turning strategic initiatives into budget deliverables 
  • Participates in monitoring and tracking the delivery of strategic initiatives 
  • Works as a partner with team for the achievement of specific target, which includes Internal and External Audit and Statutory requirements.

 

 

 

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of five years of experience
  • ACCA Certification or equivalent
  • Experience in a multinational company and busy environment
  • FMCG or Conglomerate experience preferred
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills, strong competency in excel applications, attention to detail
  • Ability to generate spreadsheets, building models and ability to quickly understand complex financial systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Passionate about process improvement and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Strong problem-solving ability and skills to influence key stakeholders to take business verses functional decisions
