Purpose of Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Systems Support Leader to oversee the administration and continuous improvement of our global financial systems (Coupa, Basware, Blackline). This leadership role will manage a team of Financial Systems Analysts and act as the bridge between IT, Procurement, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent, efficient, and business-aligned use of these financial systems. You will be responsible for setting priorities, maintaining global design integrity, driving system optimisation, and delivering measurable value through system enhancements and governance.

Job Role and Responsibilities: 

• Lead and mentor a global team of Financial Systems Administrators, setting goals, priorities, and performance standards. 
• Take an active role in the governance of the Coupa platform (and other applications like Basware, Blackline etc), ensuring adherence to global design, configuration standards, and compliance policies.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex financial applications issues, changes, and integration challenges.
• Develop and enforce operational best practices for system support and user management.
• Work closely with IT Product Managers and business stakeholders to define, plan, and execute enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
• Support business process optimisation by aligning system capabilities with evolving organisational needs within global design.
• Manage relationships with Coupa and third-party vendors for escalated support and ongoing platform development.
• Oversee training strategies, documentation development, and change management initiatives to ensure high adoption and value realisation.
• Continuously monitor platform performance, user feedback, and KPIs to drive improvements 

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of Coupa platform experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior system owner role. Hands-on experience with other financial applications like Basware and Blackline is a plus. 
• 1+ years of experience with SAP FICO, in integrated environments, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Coupa modules including P2P, Invoicing, and Supplier Management.
• Proven track record in managing system governance and configuration within a global framework.
• Exceptional leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing technical or functional teams.
• Knowledge of procurement and finance business processes.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Experience leading Coupa implementations or large-scale enhancements.
• Coupa certification(s) in core modules or administration.
• Experience working in a global, regulated, or compliance-driven environment.
