We are looking for an AfterSales Manager to join us at Henderson KGM & LDV this role is to lead the Service & Parts business with three main objectives:

  • Managing the functional activities of the team, covering the areas of dealer performance, action planning and program implementation to achieve the business objectives.
  • Through strong communication and leadership, provide coaching and support to the Team. Build and maintain a supportive team dynamic that promotes sharing across regions and a one team working environment.
  • Work closely across other business units to ensure alignment of strategy and effectiveness of implementation. Ability to have structured regular communication and influence is critical.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Delivery of operational and financial targets for After Sales business
  • Explore innovative ways to drive performance & work effectively across the business to drive the strategic objectives.
  • Lead the team to ensure they are set up for success to achieve the operational and financial targets for the business.
  • Create a high performing team where collaboration and open communication thrives.
  • Manage the network relationship, to ensure performance, compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive Service Customer Retention programs through the retail network.
  • Align strategic objectives across the After Sales team and translate into operational plans.
  • Will ensure all site processes and ways of working are best practice and in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with a sales team to maximise results
  • Has a resilient and proactive attitude to managing challenges and leading in times of ambiguity
  • Takes accountability and ownership to ensure your team are held accountable for the delivery of the core requirements of their role.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in operations, sales and leadership
  • Proven strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to build capability in teams.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver the desired outcomes and KPIs and operate as a high performing team.
  • Able to demonstrate strategic capabilities to create plans which are meaningful and resonate with others.
  • Strong and proven strategic capability
  • Proven strong record of sales results in parts and accessories.
  • Be able to lead change effectively.
  • Proven continuous improvement experience and project management skills.
  • Shows exceptional time management, prioritisation and planning skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers always.
  • Enjoys working in a retail environment, has a current driver’s licence with a sound driving record, is a qualified service technician/mechanic and has experience using Magix
