About the Role

As an Automotive Technician at Western SsangYong & LDV in Henderson, Auckland, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans, SUVs, and EVs. Your expertise will ensure the highest level of service quality, and you'll stay updated on industry trends and advancements to deliver top-notch solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles including cars, vans, SUVs, and electric vehicles (EVs).
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service.
• Stay current on automotive trends to deliver the best service to customers.

Qualifications:

• Formal automotive technician training preferred.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong track record of successful repairs and maintenance.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
• WOF authority is advantageous but not required.
