JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

• Lead the planning cycle for Inchcape Greater China, working closely with the FD to help drive the business strategy and improve profitability
• Work closely with the Group team to ensure they understand Greater China results
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support and coordinate financial submission with business partners to meet group deadline
• Ensure Greater China monthly results and planning cycles are submitted accurately & on time
• Lead transformation efforts for the F&P team, looking at how we streamline the workload of the team, so they have more time to analyse numbers and add value to the business.    Where possible, understand how we leverage solutions from Singapore to improve processes
• Work closely with the GL manager and Senior Accounting manager to look at how we streamline the month end process & improve the working capital forecast process
• New business development – Support the commercial finance team to prepare strong investment cases and help define processes & reporting to support the setup of new business channels
• Provide high quality insight to help drive profitability
• Provide coaching and leadership to a team of 3, in the process helping equip them to become true business analysts
• Participate in cross-functional projects and assisting other finance teams as required
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for executive leadership and board of directors
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and models
• Support Ad Hoc requests for analysis 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES: 

 

• Degree in Accounting or Business-related Fields with CPA qualifications
• Excellent Excel modelling and data manipulation skills                
• Inquisitive, numerical and analytical mindset, keen to find answers in the data            
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to create effective relationships with stakeholders at many levels  
• Strong analytics with a high attention to detail            
• Delivery focused with an ability to work to tight deadlines  
• Strong commercial acumen with operational insight
• Strong organisation and planning skills and ability to prioritise        
• Passion, enthusiasm, energy and drive…a “can do” attitude              
• Ability to lead change and transformation and Passion for developing world class finance teams      
• Experience in financial modeling, budgeting and variance analysis        
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
