About the job
Reporting the People Director, the Senior Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, driving HR initiatives and solutions aligned with the organization’s goals in the Greater China market (Hong Kong & Macao). This role is pivotal in workforce planning, leadership development, staff engagement and fostering an inclusive and high-performing organizational culture. The successful candidate will be an integral partner to business leaders, providing strategic counsel, enabling organizational success, and fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior business leaders to understand organizational needs and craft HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide guidance to business leaders and managers on workforce supply and demand implications, as well as strategies to manage manpower shortages and surpluses.
- Act as a key partner to business leaders, using data-driven insights and people-centric initiatives to build a thriving, inclusive, and engaged workforce.
- Lead initiatives related to workforce planning, succession planning & development, and employee engagement.
- Analyse HR data, trends and competitors to recommend and implement effective solutions and to optimize HR practices.
- Incorporating service quality standards and develop service excellence metrics.
- Act as a change agent for organizational initiatives, driving communication and adoption efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 10 years of progressive HRBP/HR management experience within fast-paced or global settings.
- Extensive practical experience in HR intelligence, effectively leveraging data for strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Solid experience in project management and staff engagement from framework design to implementation, with a proven ability to optimize their effectiveness to support organizational goals.
- Experience managing change and driving strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, showcasing outstanding presentation skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
