Our Network Cloud Infrastructure platform is seeking a IT CLOUD ENGINNER PROFESSIONAL to join our team in Colombia. In this position, you will responsible for management and administration of cloud platforms, applications and computer services that are under the takeover of the NCI Operation area, to achieve high performance of the business applications supported. This includes ensuring the hight availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of cloud environment and learn best practices for deploying resources in the cloud and how to harness the full potential of the cloud to build them at the lowest cost and highest performance
The role will ensure the Cloud operation on the current tenancies, will maintain the continuous improvement process and this will assist in overseeing the cloud security, integrity, and safety of server and Cloud resources.
What you’ll do
- The main responsibility of IT Cloud Engineer Professional is the administration of platforms, including servers, operating system maintenance, and other cloud resources. Also responsible for maintaining and administering technologies associated with NCI's Cloud services.
- The IT Cloud Engineer Professional must become a referent and be an example for the correct use of NCI's Cloud services. They are also responsible for the health of the technology associated with the services, monitoring, proposing improvements, and mitigating risks associated with the infrastructure, among other.
- The services will be provided to worldwide Inchcape markets.
- The IT Cloud Engineer Professional will work closely with the NCI project & Service Delivery area on the DDC (Colombia and Philippines).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed best practices into the infrastructure delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in project execution, implementing solutions and managing the new project infrastructure, always respecting the project deadlines and commitments.
- Provide day-to-day support for Azure and CMS DevSecOps pipelines across multiple regions.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, supporting global operations, and implementing DevOps practices, the engineer contributes to faster delivery cycles, reduced risk exposure, and improved system resilience across the organization
- Available to work in different time zones and 7x24 shifts.
- Some afterhours work will be required to join online meetings with global team members.
- Monday – Friday, office hours, and some standby or programmed activities.
- Possibility to adjust to shift-times within business hours to cover a follow the sun service.
About you
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Networking, Virtual Machine, Entra-ID, DNS, among others).
- Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GitHub Actions
- Secrets management in Key Vault, administration and access control.
- Permissions and management of primary app registration and service for access to roles and applications in Azure AD (AAD).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for application deployment and lifecycle management.
- Deployment of network resources appliances VPN S2S, Route tables, VNET, peering, Virtual private link, NSG, VHUB, Network segmentation, Firewall policies, and Zero-Trust principles, among others.
- Remote access: Bastion, MFA, conditional access enforcement.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in Cloud, or IT Operations may be considered in place of a formal degree.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) – foundation in cloud concepts and Azure Administrator (AZ-104). – Desirable
