What you'll do:
The Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality technical and non-technical training programs to dealership staff, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to meet the brand’s standards. This role supports the Training Manager in implementing the dealer training strategy, developing training materials, and evaluating training effectiveness to enhance dealer performance and customer satisfaction.
Training Delivery
• Conduct technical, sales, and customer service training sessions for dealer personnel according to the training calendar.
• Facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences using a variety of training methods (classroom, on-the-job, virtual).
• Ensure all training is aligned with the brand’s product knowledge, operational standards, and customer experience guidelines.
Training Materials Development
• Assist in creating and updating training materials, manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
• Localize and adapt global training content to meet local market needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain training relevance and quality.
Training Evaluation & Improvement
• Monitor and assess participant progress through evaluations, assessments, and feedback.
• Provide reports to the Training Manager on training outcomes and areas for improvement.
• Recommend improvements to training methods and materials based on participant performance and feedback.
Support for Dealer Network Enablement
• Support onboarding training for new dealer staff.
• Participate in dealer visits to assess skill application and provide coaching where necessary.
• Maintain accurate training attendance, completion, and certification records.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience managing training for a geographically dispersed dealer/branch network.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards, products, and services.
• Training certification (e.g., Training & Development, Coaching, Facilitation) is an advantage.
About you:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Business, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of training delivery experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset to evaluate training impact and ROI.
