We’re looking for an L1 SOC Analyst to join our Cyber Security team. As an L1 SOC Analyst, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using advanced cybersecurity tools, working closely with senior analysts to protect the organization from evolving threats.
What you'll do
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts and incidents using SOC tools and platforms
- Respond to and escalate incidents in line with defined SLAs and incident severity
- Perform initial threat analysis and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs)
- Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities in collaboration with resolver teams
- Work closely with L2 analysts and the SOC Lead on complex investigations
- Document incidents clearly, including root cause, actions taken, and recommendations
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or similar cybersecurity role
- Hands-on experience with incident detection, investigation, and response
- Solid understanding of network protocols, logs, alerts, and security concepts
- Familiarity with threat intelligence, data classification, and vulnerability concepts
- Ability to analyze logs and traffic to identify potential security threats
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear incident reports
