Sustainability is a core pillar of Inchcape’s Accelerate+ strategy, guiding how we grow, create value, and redefine the future of mobility. As ESG Reporting Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data is accurate, transparent, and aligned with evolving global standards.
You’ll work closely with our Sustainability Manager and cross-functional teams to elevate ESG data quality, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to sustainable value creation across the Group. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our sustainability journey, helping us meet our emissions reduction targets and build a more sustainable business.
What you’ll do
As ESG Reporting Lead, you will:
- Support the development of ESG reporting strategies aligned with external standards.
- Design and implement material controls for ESG and ESG reporting.
- Enhance data quality through Inchcape’s reporting platform.
- Collaborate with ESG Data Analyst, Digital, and Regional teams to improve data collection.
- Prepare ESG disclosures including TCFD and ISSB.
- Coordinate with Risk, Internal Audit, and People teams for consistent data collection.
- Respond to external questionnaires and investor-related ESG requests.
- Onboard new acquisitions into climate reporting processes.
- Manage the Climate Reporting SharePoint site for communications and data.
- Support external assurance and audits of ESG data.
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in Environmental/Sustainability reporting or assurance, ideally with a Finance/Accountancy background.
- Strong understanding of reporting processes, controls, and ESG disclosure standards.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISSB, CSRD, and SBTi.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ESG data tools.
- Strong project ownership and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
