To support our growth, we are seeking a Group Security Manager to join our People Function, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.

 

About the Role:

As Group Security Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing Global Security Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) solutions across our organisation. Your position will provide extensive exposure to all facets of our global operations, allowing you to make a significant impact on enhancing Inchcape’s security and resilience capabilities. You will be empowered to own the Group’s Security Framework and collaborate with stakeholders globally, including the Global Executive Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Group’s Security Risk Management frameworks, policies, and tools in line with industry best practices.
  • Regularly assess compliance with security policies and enhance staff awareness of security practices.
  • Provide expert support and guidance on security-related matters to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address security risks and promote a culture of best practices.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and facilitate workshops to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Prepare insightful security management reports for the Group Executive Team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in designing and leading Global Security Frameworks within a FTSE business or similar environment.
  • Proven background in security, risk, disaster management, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Knowledge of international relations and current global security issues.
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and propose creative, effective solutions.
  • Experience in implementing security management systems and conducting assessments.
