Head of Programme Delivery

We are seeking and results-driven Head of Programme Delivery to lead the development and execution of Digital Experience Platform’s (DXP) project management capabilities. In this role, you will be at the heart of shaping our approach to delivering DXP's strategic goals, ensuring that we effectively manage project scope, quality, cost, and time in line with SAFe methodologies.

As the Head of Programme Delivery, you will take ownership of the DXP roadmap, guide business stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet market demands and align with our broader organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roadmap Ownership & Coordination: Own and maintain an 18-month rolling roadmap for DXP, encompassing technology, product, and regional demand. Work closely with regional project managers (RPMs) to develop detailed market plans, ensuring proper approvals and resourcing are in place.
• Collaboration & Communication: Partner with the Head of Product, Head of Architecture, and Head of Digital Engineering to ensure a seamless flow of information regarding project scope, delivery capacity, and market needs.
• Resource & Budget Management: Oversee team resource planning and budget provisions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Manage and govern the execution of the DXP roadmap, monitoring KPIs and addressing any risks or issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, ensuring that priorities are met, roadmaps are aligned with broader company goals, and the team remains adaptable to changing market conditions.
• Team Development & Support: Build and maintain a strong team that serves as the essential link between business and technical capabilities. Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, ensuring adherence to project management controls and standards.
• SteerCo Engagement & Stakeholder Reporting: Lead program performance reporting to the executive team, managing stakeholder communications and resolving blockers that may impede project progress.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within a large-scale, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SAFe methodologies and agile project management principles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide teams through complex projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira for tracking portfolio performance, risks, and issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
