Internal Audit Manager - IT and Programme Assurance

As part of ongoing transformation within our Global Internal Audit Team, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IT, Digital and Programme Assurance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our IT and Programme Assurance Internal Audit Plan.

 

This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage a remote team, with a focus on the APAC region, and to lead audits across Inchcape’s diverse global markets. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Group, acting as a trusted advisor on technology and programme delivery controls, and ensuring that every audit adds value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the IT, Digital and Programme Assurance Internal Audit Plan, under the direction of the Senior IA Manager.
  • Take responsibility for the preparation and design of the annual risk-based audit plan, engaging with key stakeholders and ensuring adequate resources for delivery.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT, Digital and Programme Assurance team, ensuring high-quality, independent audits in line with Inchcape’s Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Lead audit projects, delivering findings and recommendations to strengthen internal controls and influence management’s decisions.
  • Support the delivery of the Internal Audit Data Analytics Strategy, providing training and guidance to the team.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, acting as a business partner and providing expert advice on technology and programme delivery controls.
  • Stay current with Inchcape’s strategy and operating model to identify and manage potential risks.
  • Contribute to additional projects or tasks as required by the Senior IA Manager.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and professional qualification (ACA, CPA, CISA, CIA or equivalent). Additional certifications in PMI, MSP, or Prince2 are beneficial.
  • experience in IT and Programme Assurance audits, with a proven ability to manage a complex audit portfolio in a global business.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems, and ideally CRM and DMS systems in the automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT) and experience in IT general controls, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with data analytics is desirable.
  • Highly organised and adaptable with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on employee engagement and team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in English is required (Spanish is an advantage).
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~25%).
