We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager – Accounting and Reporting to join our Group Reporting team. In this role, you’ll lead technical accounting and reporting efforts, including financial integration, purchase price allocations, fair value assessments, and policy application. You'll work closely with senior management, internal teams, external auditors, and advisors to drive strategic accounting decisions.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as SME for Group accounting and reporting, supporting regional and market finance teams.
- Educate and advise teams on Group accounting policies and identify opportunities for policy development.
- Lead the accounting judgements process, ensuring documentation and accuracy at key reporting dates.
- Manage the annual impairment exercise in collaboration with regional teams and auditors.
- Resolve technical accounting issues and prepare necessary financial disclosures.
- Support due diligence, transaction structuring, and purchase price mechanisms during transactions.
- Lead financial integration of acquired businesses and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Oversee acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation and fair value accounting.
- Prepare technical accounting papers for internal review and Audit Committee presentation.
About You:
- Qualified accountant with expertise in IFRS and its practical application in global organisations.
- Strong M&A experience, with knowledge of IFRS 3 (Business Combinations) and financial integration processes.
- Proven project management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of working in a diverse, international environment.
