About the Role
As a Senior People Advisor, you’ll support both strategic and operational aspects of our Group People function. You’ll lead on recruitment for key roles, evolve policies and practices, contribute to organisational change, and help build an exceptional colleague experience across our central functions (including People, Finance, Legal, Strategy, M&A, and Sustainability).
You’ll work closely with the Group Head of People and the Inclusion & Diversity team, and collaborate with colleagues from across our Centres of Excellence (Talent, Reward, Communications, Health & Safety, and more).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead recruitment for specialist and managerial roles, ensuring a positive candidate journey and a strong connection to our employer brand
- Advise on employee relations issues, coaching managers to build confidence and capability in managing people matters fairly and consistently
- Support organisational change, including restructures, contributing people expertise to ensure smooth transitions
- Partner with our People Services team to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of colleague lifecycle processes (onboarding, absence, reward, leavers, payroll)
- Own and evolve key policies in line with legal requirements, best practice, and our colleague-first approach
- Design and deliver engaging sessions and workshops that support learning and development across the colleague lifecycle – from onboarding to performance conversations
- Contribute to engagement and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring our Group functions are safe, inclusive, and energised places to work
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle for professional roles in a complex or matrix environment
- Confident in building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and offering sound, evidence-based people advice
- Skilled in employee relations, with a solid grasp of UK employment legislation
- Experience supporting organisational change and understanding its impact on people
- Strong communicator, comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Working knowledge of HR systems and data processes
