At Inchcape, we’re building a forward-looking finance and tax function that supports better decision-making across our global business. As part of the Group Tax team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax reporting and compliance in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal and international markets, gaining exposure to both UK and global tax matters.

What you'll do

  • Lead UK tax reporting processes across year-end and interim cycles, ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with Group requirements and working closely with Finance and external auditors
  • Manage UK tax compliance, including CT600 and CT61 filings, and oversee broader compliance requirements such as CFC reviews and SAO support
  • Own UK tax forecasting and modelling, including deferred tax, Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) and withholding tax (WHT)
  • Prepare tax accounting and disclosures for UK statutory financial statements
  • Support key global tax initiatives, including Country by Country Reporting (CbCR and Public CbCR) and OECD Pillar 2 compliance
  • Contribute to tax audits, Uncertain Tax Positions and WHT processes, while identifying improvements to systems, controls and ways of working

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ICAS or equivalent), or working towards qualification
  • Strong experience in UK corporate tax compliance and tax reporting, gained in practice or industry
  • Good understanding of tax accounting principles, including IAS 12
  • Experience working in a large or listed environment is advantageous
  • Confident working with tax and finance systems (e.g. Alphatax, SAP BPC) and ideally exposure to tools such as Alteryx
