SUMMARY
|
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to work closely with the Aftersales Manager to manage the daily distribution of the Parts operation, In charge of all equipment parts that are in the warehouse to include inventory, receiving, shipping, labelling, and stocking in proper location. Supervises, provides direction to Warehouse staff and emphasizes the safety and quality commitments of the department. Ensure compliance with AK, OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations with emphasis on hazardous materials and power industrial equipment requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
|
- Provide daily direct supervision of warehouse personnel.
- Motivate personnel for increased effectiveness and assist in developing a formal training program for new employees.
- Monitor employee performance and take necessary steps to ensure goals are met by all employees.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, and professional manner.
- Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturer parts information to support customer and internal inquiries.
- Stay informed on new product offerings and updates.
- Review and monitor operating goals and performance standards daily.
- Maintain timely and accurate records and reports of warehouse activities.
- Maintain the parts display at the front counter and ensure lifestyle items are organized and stocked on the showroom floor.
- Ensure all parts are correctly labeled with accurate part numbers.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing damage.
- Lead and execute the annual physical inventory.
- Ensure accurate physical counts balance with book counts.
- Conduct monthly perpetual counts of lifestyle items and monthly parts scrapping procedures.
- Oversee the daily operation of the junk battery program, including receiving, tagging, logging, palletizing, and shipping out complete loads.
- Manage defective warranty parts, including storage, reconciliation, and scrapping.
- Responsible for tracking shipments of inventory.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are checked, accurate, and free of damage.
- Responsible for the daily planning of loads and picking assignments for warehouse personnel.
- Process picking slips for both front and back counters by pulling parts accordingly.
- Prepare and process outbound shipments.
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard company assets and inventory.
- Assist the Aftersales Manager in optimizing warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
|
- Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
- 2+ years warehouse experience
- 1+ year supervisory experience
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Emails, etc.)
- Licensure and Certification
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Forklift certified
