Our highly successful Subaru Sales team located at Mentone has an opportunity for an astute Sales Manager to be a pivotal force in our sales team's success. If you embody leadership, motivation, and a passion for sales, you could be the perfect fit.

The opportunity:  
 

In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the management of a Sales Team within a dealership/retail environment.   Your role will involve:
 

• Creating excitement and passion to your team to leverage our offerings
• To ensure you achieve or exceed personal & team sales volume targets set 
• Monitor, manage, motivate and develop your team on their achievement to performance expectations
• Ensure all customer complaints are effectively managed with care and consideration. 
• Providing exceptional product and service knowledge to our customers ensuring your team is equipped to provide the same 
• Understanding and performing other tasks within the dealership such as valuating trade ins, introducing customers to our finance, insurance and aftermarket teams by raising the profile of other key business units and offerings
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintaining current knowledge regarding the brands, products and services and our competitive products

To excel in this role, you will show:  
 

• Demonstrated leadership/management experience in a sales environment
• Proven results and ability to meet required targets 
• Automotive knowledge, Aftersales and a passion for cars highly desirable
• Ability to build, create and lead a successful sales team
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence
• Process and continuous improvement mindset
• Computer proficiency and adept at navigating different technologies
