About the role
Inchcape Subaru is looking for Service Advisor to join our team at Subaru Berwick, VIC. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience from booking to vehicle collection. This is a full-time role in our busy automotive service centre, where you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Booking in customer vehicles for servicing and repairs, understanding their needs and concerns
- Providing customers with realistic time frames and cost estimates for the work required
- Coordinating with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Explaining repair recommendations and options to customers, and obtaining their approval
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a prompt and tactful manner
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customer interactions and vehicle work
- Supporting the team and contributing to a positive, customer-focused work environment
About you
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using automotive service management software and systems
- Knowledge of automotive servicing and repair processes (preferred)
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
