Subaru, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our retail team at Bundoora. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of automotive systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a skilled team of technicians.
 

The role, you will:
 

  • Lead and inspire a team of service professionals to provide exceptional maintenance and repair services 
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach to service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations to build lasting relationships
  • Operational efficiency, streamline service operations to maximize efficiency without compromising quality, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Mentor and develop service technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Uphold rigorous quality control standards to maintain the highest level of service for our customers vehicles
  • Oversee and manage parts and equipment inventory, optimizing stock to support efficient service operations
  • Work closely with other departments to enhance overall dealership performance and customer satisfaction


You will:  

  • Have previous experience working as a Service Manager, (Japanese brands advantageous)
  • Thrive off empowering a team to achieve results which generate revenue above and beyond expectations
  • Ensure all site processes and ways of working are best practice and in line with company policy and procedures
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with a sales team to maximise results
  • Have a resilient and proactive approach to managing challenges and leading in times of ambiguity
  • Takes accountability and ownership to ensure your team are held accountable for the delivery of the core requirements of their role
  • Shows exceptional time management, prioritisation and planning skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers always
  • Enjoy working in a retail environment
  • Have a current valid driver’s licence
  • Be a qualified service technician/mechanic
