Purpose of Role: 

We are looking for an experienced NCI Security Engineer Specialist to join our NCI Security Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding Inchcape’s IT infrastructure by ensuring timely and effective application of security patches and vulnerability remediation across our systems.

Job Role and Responsibilities: 

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools.
  
• Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and business impact.
  
• Develop and implement remediation plans, including patch deployment and rollback strategies.
  
• Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure smooth remediation processes.
  
• Investigate and respond to security incidents related to vulnerabilities.
  
• Stay updated on emerging threats and best practices in vulnerability management.
  
• Document assessments, remediation activities, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vulnerability management and security assessment.
  
• Strong knowledge of frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) and tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Tenable).
  
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across time zones.
